Dear Alain,

I'd like to ask a favour.

I am writing (maybe you know) a book WOODPECKERS OF THE WORLD: A PHOTOGRAPHIC GUIDE. One of the images we lack for the book is of Picus rabieri (Red-collared Woodpecker). This is a rare and very neglected species found in parts of SW China, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Of course, much of this area was/is mainly French speaking. So I was thinking that perhaps someone in France (or the French speaking world in general) has photos this species ? This is where I need your advice and help. Could you put a message in French on the internet birding/photographic French sites ? As you guessed, I do not write French so need your help.
