Les oiseaux semblaient en halte migratoire elles sont reparties en mer
Il semble qu'une bague porte le numéro 76

j ai trouvé ca  tu peux peut etre leur envoyer ta photo il te donneront surement des infos sur ta spatule son age , ou elle a ete baguée etc.....

This working-group is co-ordinating the ringing schemes from Holland, Germany, Denmark, Croatia, Greeche, Czech-Republic, Serbia, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine and Mauritania.

Used types of rings:

1) On both legs; One or two colour rings, not engraved.

2) stripe code rings in Blue or Black, White, Green, Red and Yellow

3) rings with 1 character horizontal engraved, three times repeated, both

legs the same or different characters.

4) rings with 2 characters, 90 degrees rotated, two times repeated, on both

legs the same inscription.

Used colours are (code):

Black or Blue (B)

Yellow (Y)

Red (R)

Orange (O)

Green (G)

White (W)

Light Green (L)

note 1: the position of the metal ring (can be anywhere on tibia or not used) is important for identification. The metal ring can be up or down the colouring and left or right tibia).

note 2: read for sure the background colour of the ring and the engraved code(s), the colour of the inscription is not necessary. The code has 2 characters (ciphers or letters) , the same code is used on both legs.

note 3: if you don't know which scheme the colour-ringed bird belongs, send your observation also to the Working-group for Spoonbills, The Netherlands and they'll take care for sending it to the right person. During breeding season 2004 juvenile birds have been ringed in Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Croatia, Hungary, the Czech-Republic, Romania en Serbia.
